Parents have told ATN that the following people are experienced in structured/nurturing caregiving for children with trauma and attachment issues. Some provide respite and/or parent training/coaching. ATN can not recommend any specific individual provider. ATN has no way of knowing the availability or terms of these providers. We encourage parents to thoroughly interview and investigate anyone before leaving their child in that person’s care, looking for those trained in child development, safety and experienced with traumatized children. Please ask for references and contact others who have used the provider to thoroughly check out all resources.
